I like this site, called ‘Rent-o-meter.’ Load an address, show Studio or number of Bedrooms, then watch the meter run!
You’ll see how your rent stacks up to neighboring properties. And Rent-o-meter maps where the comparable rentals are, showing the exact location and comparable rent.
How about if you’re wondering what the rent may be, on your own home? I like Zilpy.com (hats off to Matt Warmack, for pointing out this site to me). Again, just plop in your address, and a quick report appears that shows an estimated rental value of your property. Rental comps show here too. And, there are some graphs for the truly data hungry.
