Tumblr, Blog with Tweets

Many of us are thinking of either starting a blog, or creating a new website. Take a look at ‘Tumblr.’

Post anything. Tumblr makes it effortless to share text, photos, quotes, links, music, and videos, from your browser, phone, desktop, email, or wherever you happen to be. “  Tumblr.com.

My colleague Matt Sweet has posted some good ‘how to’ tips on his blog:

Here’s Matt’s Tumblr site:

Matt’s Tumblr

One handy feature is the variety of ‘themes’ available here. So if you’re a bit graphics challenged like me, finding a ‘look’ for you blog should be easy.  Matt has also connected his Tumblr site to ‘Twitter.’ (No, I’m not quite there, are you? Soon we’ll all be tweetin’)

Send me your Tumblr site, or just your website, and I’ll post it here for more people to see. Happy Friday all.

Expanded Tax Break Available for 2009 First-Time Homebuyers

    IR-2009-14, Feb. 25, 2009

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service announced today that taxpayers who qualify for the first-time homebuyer credit and purchase a home this year before Dec. 1 have a special option available for claiming the tax credit either on their 2008 tax returns due April 15 or on their 2009 tax returns next year.

Qualifying taxpayers who buy a home this year before Dec. 1 can get up to $8,000, or $4,000 for married filing separately

    • Anything that encourages home purchases should help the market here in Seattle. Thx for your post Mark! -JMH
